Delete Some Of The Files In A Directory

Hello,
i have log directory that gets fulls recursively so i want to make a program that deletes some of files -say 10 of them- sorting the files according to date they were created and delete the older files of them.
Please help me.

Surely the log files have some kind of date in their name, isn't it so? If so, read out the filename and work with that.

Have a look at File and TreeMap. That should be enough to get you going.
