Signing Applet go error

Hi all,

I'm try to sign an applet and it works well but when in try to read "user.home" it get error.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.util.PropertyPermission user.home read)
  2.

Hi
Use policytool to write the file permissions. By default applet is not allowed to acces data from user. You have to write the self signed applet for this and have to define the writes on the files.
Or tell in detail what you have done so far.

I don't want to use policy file because it need to close browser and start it again. I had signed the applet and it goes well. Thanks for your help.. :)
