sending/recieving data with a python program

9 New Member
Hello,
I'm writing a handwriting recognition application in java that needs to send a string to a python program and then recieve back the output from the python program. I'm intending on this happening fairly often and would like an efficient way of doing this.
Thanks for any help :)
