java -> jni -> dll -> mapi?

I need to provide an example to upper management on how this
works, but I don't have the time to write one. Does someone
already have some code (java and c/vc/vc++) that demonstrates
java using jni to call a dll that uses map to reach an
exchange server?

Accessing exchange directly is acceptable. I didn't think it was possible
since JavaMail doesn't support MAPI.

The forum thread says that javamail supports IMAP, not MAPI. I need
to have MAPI access to exchange.

Or you could try to use a third-party software like J-Integra for Exchange that exposes a Java API enabling your Java app to access Exchange Server objects like folders, e-mails, calendar and contact items.
