Java Change Page - Please Help Needed

3 New Member
Hello,

Im creating an applet in which the user has to log in, and after he did this with the correct login details he will be redirected to a java page with his account details (Just another page in the applet). Because this is my very first Big applet i have no idea what's the easiest way to do this. I thought about setting every variable's visibility false but that would be a lot of work. If you guys know an easier way, please let me know!

Greetz,

In order for us to answer your question, some more information about your applet is needed. Can you post some code (about 10 lines) that is relevant to your problem. How did you implement your 'pages'?

awhile back, eBay decided to switch from a Microsoft/.NET/Windows architecture on the backend to a J2EE one, which might explain why their java backend will handle up to 1 BILLION page views a day! the funny thing was eBay was one of the major case studies for .NET at the beginning, when there was still some hype about it. interesting post about a few java case studies: http://weblogs.java.net/pub/wlg/268 "I love looking through case...

I think you would agree with me that a C compiler that directly produces Java Byte Code to be run on any JVM is something that is missing to software programmers so far. With such a tool one could stay with C and still be able to produce Java byte code for platform independent apps. Also, old programs (with some tweaking) could be re-compiled and ported to the JVM. We have been developing such a tool over the last 2 years and currently...

Hello, I was hoping to get some opinions on a subject. I've been programming Python for almost two years now. Recently I learned Perl, but frankly I'm not very comfortable with it. Now I want to move on two either Java or C++, but I'm not sure which. Which one do you think is a softer transition for a Python programmer? Which one do you think will educate me the best?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
