I'm trying to design an HTML page that can edit itself. In essence, it's
just like a Wiki page, but my own very simple version. It's a page full
of plain old HTML content, and then at the bottom, there's an "Edit"
link. So the page itself looks something like this:

I have a web site called HintsAndTips.com. On this site people post tips
using a very simply webform with a multi line TextBox for inputing the tip
text. This text is encode to HTML so that no tags will remain making the
page safe (I have to convert the linefeeds to <BR>s because the
Server.EncodeHTML does not do that it seems).

I have now got this bulky piece of script working, it reads the form correctly, which sends the request to the web service using SOAP. It conforms to their DTD and the web service then responds and sends an xml document back to the page.
I would very much like the contents of the form to be entered into an sql database as it is sent to the web service, as their reply does not contain the full details filled into the form.

When the browser hits the < after value, it thinks I'm starting another
tag before I finish my input tag. Fair enough. I switch the <'s for

Hi All,
I got trouble parsing xml returned by web service. XML data contains
characters above 128, so ET.fromstring throws an error. Error is
thrown from python's xmllib.py file, where it detects char above 128.
I am replacing utf-8 encoding string in returned xml with
'ISO-8859-1', and then I call .encode with ISO-8859-1 param. Still I
get the parsing error, illegal character.

"Error Loading Stylesheet: Xpath parse failure: invalid variable name"

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
