I am having "Permission denied" error while calling
LogEvent method of WScript.Shell component.
Basically, ASP page calls Windows Script Host Shell
component to log events to the OS Application Event log.

I am sure this has been asked at least once before but I could not find
anything when searching.
If I set the value of the ExitCode property to 1066 for a windows service,
the text "A service specific error occured: 0." How do I (if it is possible)
change the value of the zero to something custom (like a "look in the event
log for further information" message)?

Hi,
I have an asp.net web page that invokes a web service. The WS searches the database for data relevant to the search critieria like date, transaction no etc.
This works fine and retirves data from the database for many search criteria.
but when I try to serach data for certain Register nos. like 129, I get an webservice error while post back. I am really confused as it works well for almost all other transactions...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
