Legal Notice to Microsoft Software Purchasers

"Microsoft denies the claims and says it developed and sold high quality and innovative
software products at fair and reasonable prices"

People who may have received notice by mail or the Internet about a Court-ordered class
action notice are doing exactly what Microsoft wants, if they participate.

Some people claim that Microsoft has "unfairly" sold software that has not been developed
or innovated by Microsoft. Any win or lose will result in setting legal precedence that
will aid Microsoft to deny the actual basis of SOFTWARE DEVELOPER claims, that some
SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS have not been compensated fairly for the software development and
innovations that were not the property of Microsoft for sale. The claim that Microsoft
unfairly sold 'development and innovations' property MUST address those SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS
who's property has been 'unfairly' sold.

If you are one of the SOFTWARE DEVELOPER who's property has been 'unfairly' sold, you may be
entitled to the vast majority of any monetary received from Microsoft, BUT A MUCH GREATER
COMPENSATION MAYBE EXCUDED BY THIS CLAIM. For example, the many SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS who
developed innovations of imaging related software included with Window 95 and 98. SOFTWARE
DEVELOPERS must stop any claim made by Zelle, Hofmann, Voelbel, Mason & Gette LLP, P.O.
Box 582628, Minneapolis, MN 55458-2628. ( www.mnsoftwaresuit.com ) I realize that
national and local media business may have censored SOFTWARE DEVELOPER claims, this may be
an implied attempt by Microsoft for 'prior' legal precedence and is related to SOFTWARE
DEVELOPER claim(s).

Microsoft appears to be stopping SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS from claiming their software work and
'development and innovation' of software has been 'unfairly' sold. Irrelevant of win or
lose, this class action may affect SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS, whose software 'developments and
innovations' have been 'unfairly' sold by Microsoft. If SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS do not stop
this class action, or any similar class action, then YOUR rights for 'fair' compensation
of 'development and innovations' may be affected.

This claim and any similar claim may affect SOFTWARE DEVELOPER rights /prior/.
YOU MAY GUESS THE TOTAL AMOUNT IS UNFAIR COMPENSATION FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS.

I currently have 2 official DB2 Workgroup Edition licenses for my 2 v8 production servers. I also have tech support/software upgrade agreements in place for both servers. I am interested in building a separate backup/test DB2 server upon which I can experiment with impunity. This backup server will not be in production in any way, and the only person who will ever connect to it is me. It will be up and online most if not all of the...

I am looking for a legal copy of Microsoft Office 97 Developer Edition in Spanish. I have been developing with Access 97 Developer Edition in U.S. English for 5 years but am now translating a software program to Spanish. I need the Spanish Access 97 Office Developer Edition so that runtime errors, message boxes, and formatting messages will be in Spanish rather than English. If anyone knows of a resource to find this software...

Anybody know what this is about then? 'Because of legal issues, Microsoft has disabled the functionality in Access 2003 and in Access 2002 that let users change the data in linked tables that point to a range in an Excel workbook. However, when you make changes directly in the Excel workbook, the changes appear in the linked table in Access.' It's here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;904953

I realize that this maybe the wrong forum, but maybe someone has run into this situation before. I sell an app and I want to offer my customers a migration path from a competing product. However, my competitor stores all data in an Microsoft Access database, which is password protected. Now, I can easily break the password and export all the data necessary into my app. In fact, I did break the password by downloading a $10 app from the...

Lately I've been getting lots of spam, selling cheap software. The website was oemsoftwarehouse.com. They supposedly were selling oem software of Borland's Delphi and Microsoft's Visual Studio. They said it was only $60 for Delphi 7 Enterprise, but Borland sells it for over $2,500 USD! I don't know the cost of Visual Studo, but the website was offering it for $130 USD. Generally, if it sounds too good to be true, it isn't. Is there such a...

A while back I had to recompile some old code, originally written by a really good programmer, but one prone to use every trick in the book, and then some. There was a statement, something like this: Result = ( Mode == 2 ? TwoWayFunc : FourWayFunc ) ( Param1, Param2, Param3 );

Something in my gut tells me this is an FAQ, but my furious Googling thus-far hasn't found the answer (Biggest problem? The terms I'm looking for are in the license itself. Search, and... get... 50 copies of the license. Great.) I've heard it said that the MIT license is one of the most permissive licenses, and that it allows a person to put MIT-licensed code into proprietary works (with the proper attribution). However, I don't understand...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
