I am modelling a software system in UML using Umbrello, which stores the
UML-model in a XMI-file (which exact type I only guess).
Now, my goal is to: have a XSL-transformation (which I call the
"script") that, given a name of a "Package"-element lists all
"Interface"-, "Class"- and "Package"-elements underneath it.
My problem is that I won't get the recursion running. The script only
lists the elements directly underneath the package,...

What are the two best database modelling solutions for MySQL database?
I use AllFusion Erwin Data Modeller, but this tool from Computer
Associates does not have MySQL option in it. Thereby I have to generate
the script first and then make manual modifications. I saw in this

Hi, I'm new to DB2 and I'll be doing some data modelling for a UDB 8.1
database. I'll need a data modelling tool that is capable of
generating DDL. Does IBM provide such a tool? Is there a cost?
Ideally it would support the XML datatypes used by the DB2 XML
Extender (not an absolute requirement though).

Although it is not direcltly relevant to .NET but i would like the expert
views.
Until now we did not have a formal requirments capture tool and UML
diagramming tool. But our projects are
getting bigger and we are thinking of buying one.
For requirment capture we looked at IBM's Requisite Pro. and for Modelling
we looked at IBM Rational Rose developer for Visual Studio. I was wodering
if we are making right decision.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
