Question to the difference between Jboss 4.0 and 3.x

Hello !
I have the following question.
What is the main difference between the jboss-j2ee.jar in the Jboss
Version 3.x and the 4.x BETA ??
I want to integrate the new JBOSS feature JBOS-PURE-P2P JMS in my
Application, using the *.jar´s being included in the JBOSS
App.ServerVersi on 3.x.
This ApplicationServ er V.3 is needed from my Application to, because
it has to connect to strange Applications on other Systems.
The new BETA 4.x version implements a newer j2ee-specification wich
allows implementing a Connection.crea teConnection Method instead of a
createTopicConn ection or createQueueConn ection.
I so included the new Package jboss-jms-p2p-client.jar into my project
and changed the jboss-j2ee lib from JBOSS Version 3 to Vers. 4.
Everything is fine, but i don´t know if there are dependencies i
haven´t seen yet.

Hello, In a JBoss 3.2.4 server, I have deployed several enterprise javabeans (each as a separate .jar, not in an .ear bundle). These beans are completely self-contained, as they include all their needed dependencies inside the jar files (and have a reference to them in the Class-Path entry in their MANIFEST.MF). The problem shows when I want these beans to be scoped, this is, to have their own classloader inside JBoss and not use the...

I am using the xercesImpl.jar class library with jboss 3.2 and under linux I can call this command: java org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process but with the same classpath and library under windows, I get an error, this saxparser is not supported. WTF. I have tried to install the latest xalan and xerces under windows and no go. Sometimes I get the error, namespace not supported.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
