Mayenziwe - is this a homework question?
The reason I ask is that this type of question is fundamental to programing and the answer is easily found in most textbooks and simple online searches.

If instead, you are confused about what a concatenation is, would you mind telling us what you think it is and you think it is achieved. This will give our experts a jumping point to clarify and refine your understanding.

Hello, I have had many years using flat file databases (File Express from way back) but am now at a company where a relational database is needed and would carry us into the future. Since I know some basics on databases, have VB Pro programming experience over the years, and I know most of what we need to carry as far as data; I have...

I am working on a database project, and I'm trying to think "objectively". Are there any tools that will map my "objects" to relational tables? I'd prefer a freebie, or something faily low-cost to start off. Thanks for any assistance.

This is such a long posting that I've broken it out into sections. Note that while developing this patch I discovered a Subtle Bug in CPython, which I have discussed in its own section below. ____________ THE OVERVIEW I don't remember where I picked it up, but I remember reading years ago that the simple, obvious Python approach for...

I've been poking around the world of object-relational mappers and it inspired me to coin a corellary to the the famous quote on regular expressions: "You have objects and a database: that's 2 problems. So: get an object-relational mapper: now you have 2**3 problems." That is to say I feel that they all make me learn so much about the...
