Alignment issue

Hi all

Please look at http://www.carfolio.com/newlook.dhtml and try and help me
understand why the form elements in the navigation bar does no want to
align themselves vertically with the other elements in the navigation bar.
I'm not sure why it should be displayed this way, and would really
appreciate any pointers please. The left border is also missing - it
looks like the right edge of the anchor element to the left of it might
be overlapping it, but again what is causing that?

The page does validate, as does the css.

And yes, I have caved in on the links as inline <li> elements ;-)

Thanks everyone.

Ciao

Zak

My guess would have been that it is due to the default padding/margin on
the form - but you have already set them both to 0 in your CSS, so not sure
about that one.

You have defined the left border on the fieldset, then defined border: none
on it further down (both in newstyles.css). There seem to be a number of
cases like this - e.g. you have defined margin: 3px; then margin: 0; in the
form rule and the fieldset rule.

The page does validate, as does the css.

No it doesn't. :-D

Yes, I got desperate & started pasting margins & padding of 0
everywhere...

Oops. Server-side cache got an older version at that url. Here's the
cached latest version, sorry:

Now *that* certainly validates... ;-)

Doesn't seem to have helped you much, though. Not sure why the form isn't
lining up for you.
