How to display images in the browser other than <img src.... tag

you can use the background css property, but what's wrong with <img>?

The problem with <img src> tag s that the images r under a folder "abc" , for eg,
this folder is blocked for keywords at the browser level

does that mean, you're not allowed to access this folder? or what does 'blocked for keywords' mean?

When the file path of the image is given in the <img src> tag i dont get the image, the folder under which the image exists is blocked.How can i display images in my case

if you don't have permissions (esp. read permission) there is no way you can get the image. you must get the appropriate permissions from the system administrator.

do you know whether someone has access to the images?
