making iframe background transperent compatible with html 4.0


can you please help me with the subjected issue. i am trying to make the background transparent of an iframe which is compatible with html 4.0.

i am using the follwing code

<iframe allowTransparency="true"src="frame.html" width="200" height="210"></iframe>

but when i trying to validate code its showing error

can you please help with issue

There is no such attribute as "allowTransparency". I don't recall if the CSS property "opacity" works on frames or not.
