Need some assistance creating hyperlinks

I would like to have a hyperlink on my index page - that points to a specific place on another page.

currently it only goes to the page the thing i want it to point to is on...

Here's the website

http://portal.actionlink.com/portal/merchnewsletter/volumes/2k7/v8/issue1/index.asp

I don't know if you can get in or not it is an employee site.

Anyway - on the index I have listed peoples names who have contributed to the newsletter - and I wanted to make it so if you click on thier name - you will go directly to the article that individual contributed.

The Jack Purviance link needs to go to the salsa recipie in the recipe page.

Is this possible? I am using dream weaver.

Thanks!

The easiest thing you'll do all day.

On the first page:

<a href="the-other-page.html#salsa-recipe>

On the second page:

<p id="salsa-recipe">

The pound names the anchor on the other page. The anchor name must be an 'id'.
