Absolute beginner!

2 New Member
Morning all :)

I'm just starting off in trying to build a website.

I have a few sites saved offering tutorials etc and plan to purchase a couple of books in regard to html/css.

My questions is:

Is CSS something I need to purchase or is it like html and (for want of a better description) already in the computer

regards

Like HTML, CSS is part of the W3C standard recommendation that browser makers follow.

To create HTML/CSS I wouldn't purchase any books unless you really want one or find them cheap you can learn easily from the link provided above.

I think by now you already know that all you need is a text editor and an internet browser.

I would like to add one more thing to get you started, download example codes for the Book "Beginning HTML, CSS & JavaScript" by Wrox.
You'll get the idea just by looking at the example codes (and of course try the codes out for yourself).
