Help please: List menu and ie

Hi,
I seem to be getting somewhere with this menu as it works in Firefox
and Opera, but only partly works in I.E as the last column "extends"
but not correctly.

It is based from the menu system at http://www.csscreator.com

Can anyone see where I am going wrong?

The files used are below. Any CSS or js files are in the root
directory.

Many thanks in advance
TycoonUK

"Extras" is the only menu item that does anything in IE, and it looks
exactly the same as it does in Firefox (except smaller - in Firefox I
can actually read it).

Well, for starters you're using px for font sizes, meaning I can't read
anything in IE. The absolute positioning you are using for the menu
doesn't help anything either.

IE does not do :hover for anything except <a>.
(I did not look at the CSS closely so I may have missed a workaround.)

It seems to be worse than that. IE does not action :hover even on
<a>, unless there's an href= attribute present.

That having been said - don't overlook the possibility of
applying "display: block" if you want to get borders etc.
applied to the hover. There's a rough example at

(I did not look at the CSS closely so I may have missed a workaround.)

It also doesn't exactly "work" for those of us who use keyboard
navigation. It's completely inaccessible in that regard.
