small cross-platform issue

Hello,

Could anyone tell me why the image at the center of the page, and the
footer on the following link are centered and look normal in FireFox,
and not in IE? I believe it is an extraneous closing <div> tag,
although I can't be sure.

Any input is appreciated.

A more likely cause is the lack of a doctype or one of the other code
errors. google for "quirks mode", and check out

You seem to be an online advertising company. Before we go further, can
you explain why you are linking to the stylesheet of a newspaper?
