I've updated the WDG Web Authoring FAQ: http://www.htmlhelp.com/faq/html/
This is the first update in about 4 years, so there were a lot of changes.
Unfortunately, there are still quite a few changes that need to be made...
Good; perhaps you will be able to announce when it may be worth fetching
another new copy?
IIRC, in that indexing page, there is a link at the top to all.html, and
a non-link at the bottom to all.html. Perhaps the bottom reference
might be linkified?
IIRC, that page may say "and is posted regularly to the newsgroup
comp.infosystems.www.authoring.html."; all.html does say that. ISTM
that the index could reasonably be posted regularly, to make its
statement true; but the statement in all.html is rightly false.
And all.html has "The text version is posted to the newsgroups" which I
don't recall seeing.
Should newsgroup references be added to the "Where can I learn about
...." sections ??
Sec 7.11 - or Javascript.
Sec 8.4 - ISTM that it should be possible to include GMT/UTC with SSI.
Can you get
http://www.htmlhelp.org/faq/fep/ updated? Paragraphs 3
& 4 of "vi. Did you use the FONT element?" look like codswallop. AIUI,
signed font size changes are in steps on a 7-rung ladder. Since the
last update (AFAICS) was 1997-02-23, it's possible that other changes
may be in order.
