I have this links list with background images set on them which changes
when they roll over.
The <td> is set valign="middle" however as soon as you apply the
rollover to the link, the text jumps to the top of the <td> instead of
staying middle.
I can not put padding on the top as some links are 2 lines and some are
1 line.

I have this code that I want to use to do a rollover. However, because the
company I am doing it for is continually changing the text, I want to be
able to use dynamic text to change the text on the fly, and still have the
rollover work. I have taken the text off of the buttons, but cannot figure
out how to do it with dynamic text using...

I have constructed the following code that simulates the common
rollover effect when moving the mouse over a label (this example makes
the label bold.)
I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a better solution.

Hope someone can help.
I am still learning, so no laughing please.
I am displaying records from a database using Response.Write(""); instead of
the usual datagrid method.
I am doing it this way to achieve the result I require.
However. Since I have added a button to the screen, and have had to include
the "object sender, System.EventArgs...

Just curious why a VERY commonly used affect of rollover was NOT implemented
in .NET 2.0 for web controls?
Does anyone have a link to VB code that will show me how to build my own
UserControl that will support a rollover?
thanks, Rob.

But how can I change the text on rollover? I don't understand the...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
