How awful. On the other hand, you multiposted your obscure question. So
please keep your incorrect From field as long as there is not point in
trying to help you. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could explain to me what the difference is between the width propery of the picture property of an image and the width property of the image itself. I would have guessed that when the stretch property of an image was set to false and an image was assigned to the picture property, that Image1.Picture.Width and Image1.width would be the same. This is not the case.

Hi Pythonistas, just as a small comment on the side-effects of the rather new concept of local functions with access to their scope: This concept can be used to avoid having extra classes just for keeping some read-only state. Since this feature is not so obvious in the first

How can I scale the Picture form to a custom scale from the C++ DLL, so that the points are drawn in the right place? Note: I am currently passing the picture's hDC tag to the DLL, but I don't know what to do with it. Can I use some...

I have a project I'm working on where I just won't be able to have SQL enterprise. It's an ASP.Net VB project, and it needs to scale. Can I just use rigid and relational XML and have the entire site run well without an ODBC database? Will XML scale? I'm worried if I have a User.xml keeping track of all the users the same way that a Users table would in SQL, it won't be able to deal with a lot of simulatneous users. Will MySQL be a...

I have 16-bit data that I want to display. In order to display it I compress a certain range of the input data into 8 bit (I need control over this). All seems to work ok except that it is dead slow both in release and debug mode. The main problem is the for-loop shown in the code bellow. Without the for-loop I can get somewhere around 10-20 updates/second. With the for-loop I get an update every 2-3 seconds. The strange thing is that when...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
