Is it safe to say that winforms coupled with soap/xml will be the future
trend of the internet browsing experience down the line?
In essence, corp web sites shift from HTML based browsers --> Winform EXE
style browsing experience? If this is the case, how far down the line
could this become a reality? Will the .NET Framework ship with longhorn
(Future Ver. Windows) ?

let's insert visual clues -- letters or numbers indicating what column
we are looking at -- right into the text of the table, so the user is

Years ago, it occurred to me that a lot of the trouble
of writing web browsers is caused by the upside-down
arrangement of things: Javascript code exists inside
a document, when really it should be the other way around.
And yet, although this seems fairly obvious to me,
having tried myself to write a web browser and given up,
I don't see a lot of movement by major web browser
projects in a direction that might TRULY fix the...

Can I use a bound ComboBox for both browsing and editing?
I'm working on a small, standalone database application using Visual
C#.NET 2003 and an Access data file.
In order to keep the number of different screens down to a minimum,
I'm trying to use the same Windows Forms for both browsing and for
updating. This works fine for TextBoxes, but I'm running into
problems with my DropDownLists (ComboBoxes).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
