Displays fine in IE for me.
Validate your markup: you have duplicate id 'base' (and other errors):

<URL:http://validator.w3.or g/check?uri=http% 3A%2F%2Fwww.jea npierredaviau.c om%2Finset.html >
You also have CSS errors, so validate that too:

<URL:http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=h ttp%3A%2F%2Fwww .jeanpierredavi au.com%2Finset. html&usermedium =all>
Any of the above may have caused your issue.
Instead of:
.inset { position:relati ve;
border-left: #ffffff 6pt inset;
border-right: #ffffff 6pt inset;
border-top: #ffffff 6pt inset;
border-bottom: #ffffff 6pt inset;
height:150px;
width:183px;
}

Why not:

.inset {
position: relative;
border: 6pt inset #ffffff;
height:150px;
width:183px;
}

height: 200px;

padding: 15px 15px 15px 15px;
}

#base1 {
background:url( badour.jpg);
border-width:3pt;
border-color:#bbbbbb;
border-style: groove;
width:550px;
height:200px;

padding: 15px 15px 15px 15px;
}

..inset {
position:relati ve;
border: 6pt inset #ffffff;
height:150px;
width:183px;
}

..texte {
position:relati ve;

</style>

I know, this won't be any standard HTML -- I'm looking for a way to disable the image icons bar introduced in IExplorer6 (something like autocomplete="off", but for images). Or, even the correct name of this thing would help me (my browser's in German). Thanks. -- Google Blogoscoped http://blog.outer-court.com

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
