GCD of two numbers in Python

4 Bit
I am trying to write a Python program to find the greatest common divisor of two numbers in Python. I have been following the algorithm described here, but I am having trouble getting it to work.
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. def gcd(a, b):
  2.     while b != 0:
  3.         a, b = b, a % b
  4.     return a
  5.
When I run this code, I am getting an error:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Traceback (most recent call last):
  2.   File "gcd.py", line 4, in <module>
  3.     return a % b
  4. ZeroDivisionError: division by zero
  5.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help me?
Thanks
