How can I copy a array to a character pointer

I suspect this is a c/c++ question (in which case an array reference is a pointer, and you could cast it to a character pointer)....
Could you clarify that you are indeed asking in terms of c (or c++) and I'll move this thread to the experts in the relevant forums, who may bve able to give you a better answer......
