Business Scorecard Manager 2005 gets bundled with Proclarity and what was 'Biz #'

Does anyone out there have experience with the new MS Performance Point 2007 (PP2007) product (or should I say the product made of 3 products)? I have been creating composite web applications that were developed to leverage Business Scorecard Manager 2005 but also integrate and incorporate into our broader SOA implementation (BSM leverages as its underlying components: SPS / WSS, AS and RS 2000, SS2000SP4). Because we are not on the 2005 (SS, AS or RS) yet, we were forced to do a lot of custom work to make the product meet customer specs.
It sounds like MS PP 2007, however, will now require 2005. (PP 2007 contains BSM, Proclarity, and what was formerly called Biz #). I know this is the MS business model , but is there any way around this software version requirement>?
