Getting started as a programmer

Hey, I want to be a programmer and I have no idea how to program and I want to learn as many languages as I can. Any help and tips would be awesome. Thanks. Later.

Sorry about the late response.

I am in the same boat as you. I want to learn the basics behind many of the languages. At the very least learn about their strengths and weaknesses.

You should stay tuned, especially if you are interested in the development of web based services and software. A lot of new things are coming to thescripts.com shortly that will really help you out.

In response to your request, the best tip i can give you read and use the langauge to develop something. Lots of reading!

Just as KUB365 says, READ !!! Its what changes you from an end-loser (oops.. :)) end-user to a guru in whatever you choose to do in life .. Oh yeah, use what you learn or it will just slip away into the darkness ... Mars or Bust ....

by the way KUB365 .. sure would like to know what your idea is !

I would like a where to begin on setting up the profile with the

scripting needed on this forum ... its like I've forgot myself or at least coding on forums.. a little 101 for sigs would be cool

Docskate23 .. just keep plugging at it .. and when you get stuck .. just ask someone or take a break :)

Good luck guys
