HTML & CSS - online shop header top line - make it differently for desktop and mobile

1 New Member
Dear people :)

I just have super basic coding skills and our shop software partner is bad for people who are bad in coding, so I need your help to do some changes in the header top line in our online shop please!

I want do do this headline differently for mobile and desktop, so that the headline is in one line by using desktop and in two lines by using mobile.

In our shop backend I have a field where I can fill in the HTML code to create this headline.
In our shop templates I have this one file in which the CSS is defined.

Our shop software partner told me:
"You have to change the content of the field in the shop backend accordingly. The CSS classes available for this are all available in the file styles.css."

But I have no idea what to do now in this HTML field in our shop backend.

I want it like this:

Desktop:
Kostenloser Versand ab 50€ in DE | 10% Neukundenrabatt mit dem Code: CHECK-IN

Mobile:
Kostenloser Versand ab 50€ in DE
10% Neukundenrabatt mit dem Code: CHECK-IN

Here some Screenshots:

In case you need the whole styles.css file:

Can you help me? :)

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best wishes

Does anyone know of a newsgroup or reference where I can determine why certain elements render differently between say, Internet Explorer and Mozilla? Our site has some of the worst HTML I've ever seen and some of it renders terribly. I think I'm finally through repairing all of the "IE Only" CSS tags. Another problem I'm having is that when I use JavaScript to hide/show a row in a table, it works fine in IE but colspan formatting seems...

Are we going backwards ? (please excuse my spelling...) In my opinion an absolute YES ! Take a look at what we are doing ! we create TAGS, things like <H1> etc. and although there are tools (dreamweaver and the like), they are all at the lowest level of programming (something like assembly as oposed to C++ etc.). These tools create "brain-dead" developers that constantly have to plough through tons of tags to do the simplest thing. ...

I'm a newbie with a large number of data files in multiple directories. I want to uncompress, read, and copy the contents of each file into one master data file. The code below seems to be doing this perfectly. The problem is each of the data files has a header row in the first line, which I do not want in the master file. How can I skip that first line when writing to the master file? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you. ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
