Hi,
Am I trying to hold the data of a DataGrid in a label so that when the form
is reposted the DataGrid can be repopulated. The problem I am having is that
I don't understand how to get the text into a stream in order to be able to
use DataSetOutcomes1.ReadXML(MyStream).
Thanks in advance,
James

Hi,
I have a datagrid that has one ButtonColumn which is bound to a database
field.
My requirement is that when the page containing the datagrid is loaded,
I would like the ButtonColumn to be enabled/disabled based on the value of a
boolean variable that is calculated at runtime - if the value if false, I
don't want the ButtonColumn to display links for the displayed items.

The ItemCommand event not getting fired when I add both a BoundColumn and a
ButtonColumn to a datagrid. When I add a ButtonColumn by itself, everything
works fine, but as soon as I add a BoundColumn, the ItemCommand event
doesn't seem to get called.
I've been struggling with this for too long now, I'm certain there's
something I'm not getting. Here's the relevant code. Thanks in advance!

time when creating programs. however, i ran into a brick wall.
i created a template column at design time. i learned that i have to use
itemplate interface to bind my custom data. within the itemplate column, it
displays my custom data properly everything works. except that i cannot use
the datagridcommandeventargs.item.findcontrol("//asp:label within datagrid")...

I'm working on an ASP.Net application written in C#. On one page,
there are several datagrid controls used to display, edit and delete
detail records relating to the master record also displayed on that
page. Each row in each datagrid includes a Delete button (added at
runtime by the code-behind page as a ButtonColumn) and an Edit button
(added at runtime by the code-behind page as an EditCommandColumn).
What is the quickest, easiest and...

I have created a custom server control which is actually a Button
clicking which prompts a user with a JavaScript confirm message asking
him whether he would like to proceed or not. If he clicks *OK' in the
confirm box, he is taken to the next page. If he clicks *Cancel* in
the confirm box, he stays on that page itself.
I have a Web Form which houses a DataGrid. To edit the data in the
DataGrid, I am using <asp:EditCommandColumn/>. To...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
