HADR Status

Hi,
If i have HADR setup with data synch setting of NEAR-SYNC and i have
congestion on the line. Do my transactions block until the my
HADR_STATE goes to PEER.
In the instances that sometimes i have congestion,i have not noticed
transactions waiting at all.
This seems contrary to the idea of NEAR-SYNC, can anybody explain
this?

Once HADR goes into anything other than peer state, it will not wait any
longer, and will catch-up later. Of course, it is no longer in true
near-synch if that happens (until it goes back to peer state). There is a
time out parameter that you can set as to how long it will wait before going
out of peer state.
