Updating across databases

1 New Member
Hello,

This is my first time but hopefully I can get an answer.

I ran a bad SQL in production that updated data erroneously.

What I'm hoping to be able to do is this:

After a few tables get restored to a test version of the database I'd like to write an SQL that will do a mass update of the data for me.

What I hope to have is this:

DB1.Col A DB1.ColB
123 456

DB2.Col A DB2.ColB
789 456

After executing the query I want this:

DB1.ColA DB2.ColB
789 456

I saw a similar discussion so forgive me for posting a second time.

I'm working in DB2 Version 8 if that matters

Thanks.
