error logging functionality

Jo
Hi. Just wanted to check if anyone has noticed a difference in error
logging between v8.1 and 8.2. In 8.1 if the machine is rebooted
abnormally with diaglevel as 3 there are no messages logged in the
db2diag log except for the dbmanager starting and stopping but in 8.2
there are messages logged regd. crash recovery etc with the same
diaglevel.
Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Isn't that a Good Thing(tm)?
There has been focus on improving the db2diag.log

Cheers
