initialize both DB2 and Microsoft Visual Studio environments with asingle command

P: n/a
Something I've been trying on and off to do and only just got figured out.
You can use something similar to the following command to initialize both
the DB2 environment and the MS Visual Studio environment:

db2cw c:\PROGRA~1\MID05A~1\VC\vcvarsall.bat x86

Replace "x86" with the appropriate parameter, as necessary.

Hope this helps someone. Would be nice if the db2cw script could handle
folder names with embedded spaces, though... Not sure if the 8dot3
shortnames are universal or are system specific, but here's how I got them:

C:\>dir c:\pro* /x
Directory of c:\

08/10/2006 02:30 PM <DIR PROGRA~1 Program Files
C:\>dir c:\"Program Files"\"Microsoft Visual Studio"* /x
Directory of c:\Program Files

08/10/2006 02:26 PM <DIR MID05A~1 Microsoft Visual Studio
