OS Command scripts never terminate in Task Center

Situation:
New server running Win2k3 with Active Directory. DB2 scripts run fine
in Task Center. Windows (OS) command scripts do not complete on their
own.

db2admin stop/start finishes the task.

A look in the Journal on job history shows job output, but no
completion times. Even a very simple script doesn't complete (e.g:

echo "Hello!"
exit

)

Doesn't seem to be in any loop. CPU remains low. It just seems to
miss the end of the OS Command script.

Anyone run into anything similar?
