Support for Generated columns on iSeries

P: n/a
Hi

We're using an iSeries running v5r3.

I am trying to add a generated column to a table, using the statement
below.
The card_status column is a bitset.

ALTER TABLE cards ADD COLUMN cpstatus8 INT GENERATED ALWAYS AS
(card_status & 8);

I receive an error message
"Error: [SQL0104] Token PC_CARDS_2_A was not valid. Valid tokens:
IDENTITY."

which suggests that maybe the iSeries does not support this?
