Modify db cfg

P: n/a
Hi @ll,

when i make a change on this parameters ->

Automatic maintenance (AUTO_MAINT) = ON
Automatic database backup (AUTO_DB_BACKUP) = OFF
Automatic table maintenance (AUTO_TBL_MAINT) = ON
Automatic runstats (AUTO_RUNSTATS) = ON
Automatic statistics profiling (AUTO_STATS_PROF) = OFF
Automatic profile updates (AUTO_PROF_UPD) = OFF
Automatic reorganization (AUTO_REORG) = ON

Do i have to restart the db2 database to take a effect ?

When exeute the following command ->

db2 "get db cfg for svdb2 show detail"

I should see the changes is this right?

If so the changes took immediately effect this would be nice ! ;-)

Cu,

If a config change requires to disconnect to even to restart there will
be warning message issued. Something like:
"Some config parameters will only take effect after disconnecting all users"
So if you don't get that message you should be fine.

Cheers
