Examples wanted

I am trying to find examples of two things that I don't see discussed in the
IBM manuals. I was wondering if the readers of this newsgroup could help me
by giving me some examples or at least pointing to examples that might
already exist somewhere.

I would like to find examples of two things:
1. an SQL PL stored procedure that invokes another program that is NOT a
stored procedure, for example a standalone client program.
2. an SQL PL stored procedure that sends a message to MQSERIES.

The SQL PL procedure will be running in DB2 for Windows/Linux/Unix on
Version 8.2.

Obviously you have to leave the DB2 environment and go to the OS-level to do
whatever you want to do. You can find some examples here:
