Please explain.
Thanks,

Yasaswi,

Yes, you use

db2 "UPDATE DB CFG FOR dbname USING NEWLOGPATH wherever-you-want"

You should also look at other DB CFG parameters related to logging -

MIRRORLOGPATH : for dual logging
OVERFLOWLOGPATH : for holding logs retrieved from archive by user exit
LOGRETAIN : to turn on log retention
USEREXIT : to supply code for archiving your logs

ACtually you would be advised to install Fixpack 7a to bring you to V8.2
level, where there is much better archive logging capabilities built in
(rather than using the USEREXIT).

This is all well documented in the manuals.Â*Â*Â*SuggestÂ*youÂ*checkÂ*theseÂ*out
before asking on the group (your other question is also answered by a look
at the manuals).
