uninstall cube views code ???

I installed Stinger in my PC (w2k). I need to do a quick compare between DB2
OLAP server and DB2 Cube Views. And I only found DB2 Cube Views version8.1
trial code from IBM website. I didn't want to spend a lot of time on this.
So I installed the Cube Views 8.1, without uninstall ESE V8.2 code first
last Friday. It looks like everything was OK.
But I failed to start DB2 Information Center and DB2 CC today. I've seen
process - javaw used almost 50M memory each time, but the GUI interface
never show up. I began to uninstall DB2 ESE and failed, because I was asked
to uninstall DB2 Cube Views first. When I tried to uninstall DB2 Cube Views
and got "fatal error during installation" and I couldn't find the detailed
information.
Does anyone have any idea about this? What is the trick?

Why do I need to uninstall DB2 Cube Views first? Even we need to build those
physical Cube, meta data in db2 databases. We should be allowed to install
DB2 Cube Views code first, once we create the physical database, at this
moment, there should be a way to allow the user build the meta data, ...
Uninstall ESE code doesn't mean physically remove all the databases, once we
install the ESE code again, we still can catalog those physical
databases....

Thanks,
