Create server error ...

Uma
I am trying to conenct to tables in another database, but I get this
error on the CREATE SERVER command:
SQL1019N The node name specified is not valid
The create server command looks like:
CREATE SERVER FEDACL TYPE DB2/NT VERSION 7.2 WRAPPER "DRDA" AUTHID
<user> PASSWORD <password> OPTIONS ( NODE 'MOCO', DBNAME 'sample' );
LIST NODE DIRECTORY shows that the node MOCO is a local cataloged
instance.
and both the databases are in the same instance !!!

Any pointers to what might be going wrong.
Thansk!
