Hi all,
I have couple of questions some one plzz help
1.I have a query which run for 2 hours on my production machine, it
returns 1.5 millon rows, i looked at the explain plan it is picking up
the indexes on big table. The query joins 5 tables ( 1 has 30 million
records 4 other tables have less than 100000) i see the cost at each
step is less than 1000 so i guess it shouldn't take that long to
return the result set??? it does a sort...

In some other databases (like Oracle and SQL Server), there is a view
that show all SQL's currently executing, who is executing the SQL, and
what the SQL is waiting on (wait on read, wait on lock, wait while
writing to backup transaction log, etc.). What, if any, command can do
this in UDB?

used, but can't find what db2 processes are using it up?
even with a db2stop i see 50 % memory being used ( i used nmon, vmstat

How can we find which SQL statement is executing when "list application
show detail" shows "UOW Executing" against an application.

I will like to use DB2TOP for monitoring but have no idea how to install it
on my machines - both windows and linux.
My environment is DB2v8.1 fixpk 16 (windows and Linux) and a DB2v9.5 on a
linux server. I have looked for db2top in the
windows bin directory and could not find it.
I downloaded DB2TOP but find no installation guide or how to activate
instruction.

I have installed db2top on solaris 10 and i trying to run db2top in batch mode. I tried with following option for batch mode:
db2top -d UBIS -u db2das -p db2das -i 3 -b l -X -o db2top.xml -m 10
But still this utility runs in interactive mode.
could someone suggest me how can i run db2top in batch mode.
