Hi, I've worked on this for a couple of days & can't figure out what
I'm doing wrong.
I'm trying to connect to a remote AS400 database using odbc & php.
Here's my environment:
Server: RedHat ES 2.1
IBM HTTP Server (was pre-built by IBM):

Dear All,
I just downloaded & installed MYSQL. It seemed to work and I can start
it and enter my password and change a directory but that is about all.
I have been ready and playing "hit & miss" all afternoon and it seems
to have something to do with the "mysql_install_db" not being
installed correctly -- I have tried multiple installs with multiple
downloaws.

We have a database that reads in and formats raw data. We were using
queries to format the data per person and outputing reports.
The other database has the persons personal information. I changed the
queries on the raw data to maketables, copied the reports into the
personal info database and they have the reports from the raw data
available for the reports.
NOW they want the reports to be displayed as a new tab in the forms.

This is a bit "wordy", but here is the scoop. I'm using Microsoft Visual
Studio for VC++ in
Windows 2000.
I made an application which had no form in it. So when I ran the
application, I just got a DOS box that showed some progress info. I then
decided to add a form... So I made a new application and started with
creating the form. Then I copied and pasted cpp code into places where I
thought they should go - leaving out the stuff...

Hi
I use Access2002
I have created a simple form with 3 parameter UserID, Password &
Database
When a user enters values into these text boxes a passthrough query to
a Sybase database is envoked with the connection string set to the
form parameters
My problem is that when an invalid username, password or database
string is entered the passthrough query still works even though
looking at the connect property this has changed to the form...
