Hello,
In the process of making my database work (I started with not
being able to insert records because of tablespace issues) , I dropped
the tablespace for it. Now I am not able to access the data in any of
the tables because the tablespace on those tables is invalid. Is there
any way I can attach a new Table space to the existing tables(I get a
SQL3022N error code -204 message) . I don't work with databases and am
more into the DRDA aspect of DB2. So any information on this that can
keep me going is appreciated.
Thanks,

You cannot replace the tablespace of an existing table.
When you dropped the tablespace you dropped all its tables with it.

There is one thing I don't understand, I have default tablespace
userspace1 is database managed type, with total freepages 506048.
another one called tmpxx is DMS type too, with 525120 free pages. When
I create a new table (did not specify on which tablespace), why the
table not created on the userspace1 but instead on tmpxx? what is the
rule to create a table on tablespace without specify in which
tablespace
if I have both tablespace...

the real DBAs aren't around for a few days, so rather than
shoot myself in a tender spot, i thought i'd ask first.
what docs i can find say that the syntax is:
DROP TABLESPACE FOO
seems simple enough, except that the other side is
CREATE TABLESPACE FOO IN BARx

Hello,
I have a tablespace striped across three drives, call them 1,2,3, just to
be clever. :) I allocated a lot more space (DMS) than I should have,
since I didn't know a way to estimate the space required (long story, but
the original space was in one huge tablespace for all tables ((35 million
row tables)) and I needed to segregate them out into separate tablespaces
for backup and restore purposes.
So I allocated, like 4 million...

So yea... I rm-ed a rlv that our TS_FACT2 tblspace was using. So our
db went to the crapper. The tblspace didn't have any pertinent info,
so I'm ok with dropping the tblspace and starting over.
These are the commands and errors that I have found:
--db2 => restart database sware drop pending tablespace (TS_FACT2)
DB20000I The RESTART DATABASE command completed successfully.
--db2 => list tablespaces

hi all,
i was working on DB2 and came across an issue. i.e. can a tablespace be
rollforwarded to POINT-IN-TIME?
the scenario is as follows:
i created a data base and a tablespace in it.
i have enabled archival logging (enabled userexit and logretain) and
changed log path to a different location.
as the log path and logging method was changed, the database was in
backup pending state. so, i took a complete offline backup of the

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
