Tablequeue buffers overflow

Hello, A particular select query took unusually long time to execute
hence I took an app.snap to find out what happens internally and I
found out that tablequeue buffers are overflowing on a particular node
of my logically partitioned db having 8 partitions.

Current number of tablequeue buffers overflowed = 147737
Total number of tablequeue buffers overflowed = 190224
Maximum number of tablequeue buffers overflowed = 189683

Can you please help me to resolve this error. Thanks

Full App.snap is as below.

I want to do a lot of data manipulation and passing. The buffer I have always used before STL was a simple char buf . I can pass its address easily. void f (char *buf) I can assign to its middle with a moving pointer. myStruct *p = (myStruct *) buf; // Cast *p++ = myValue;

Does anyone know a standard (or supported on Linux, Mac, Win32) way to clear a read stream buffer (standard ANSI C file stream)? I would even settle for a platform specific way of doing it. And no, I know I can use direct low level I/O or non-buffered to do reads, but for my app, I need the buffering. I can implement myself, but this is not optimal. Example, I open a read only file using fopen(). I periodically know

I have a very basic question on the two parameters shared buffers and effective cache size. I have read articles on what each is about etc. But I still think I don't quite grasp what these settings mean (especially in relation to each other). Since these two settings seem crucial for performance can somebody explain to me the relationship/difference between these two settings and how they deal with shared memory. Thanks much Sally ...

We then handed this buffer by reference to another C++ dll to do base image processing on it. Alternativly we copy an area of the whole image to a newly...

Is it possible to use some C or compiler extension to catch integer overflow? The situation is as follows: I use C as target language for compiled Seed7 programs. For integer computions the C type 'long' is used. That way native C speed can be reached. Now I want to experiment with raising a Seed7 exception (which is emulated with setjmp(), longjmp() in C) for integer

Hi, When i use some standard library functions and fields,which return char* type(like ctime in time.h, optarg in getopt.h)and do not have to be freed after calling,i always worry about memory leaking(thoug i konw i just donot have to).Then i look inside in time.h file(mingw) ,and i found notes say"These functions write to and return pointers to static buffers that may be overwritten by other function calls".So how is the"static buffers"...

The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
