Hi
I have an issue with an asp page that reads from an Excel file. I read the
file using OLEDB. I create a new Excel file using "MS Excel 2003" and put
the following data into a sheet called "Ark1" (2 columns and 5 rows):

Hey All,
Kind of a series of anomalies here with one root source, I believe. I
have an editable, paging datagrid.
1.When one clicks "edit" textboxes open up on row x, HOWEVER, if one
clicks "next page" the textboxes remain no matter which page you are
on. No error messages are shown.
2.After editing data, when one clicks "update" the page refreshes, but
*no* new data is actually loaded into the db. No error messages are

I have a form with several combo boxes, continuous form format, with
record source a query off an Item Table. The fields are Category,
Subcategory, and Color. I am displaying descriptions, not ID's, so I
have to convert the ID's from various lookup tables.
The combo boxes work fine except for subcategory, which is dependent on

I am running into an issue when adding data from multiple columns into
one alias:
P.ADDR1 + ' - ' + P.CITY + ',' + ' ' + P.STATE AS LOCATION
If one of the 3 values is blank, the value LOCATION becomes NULL. How
can I inlcude any of the 3 values without LOCATION becoming NULL?
Example, if ADDR1 and CITY have values but STATE is blank, I get a
NULL statement for LOCATION. I still want it to show ADDR1 and CITY

I have a form with 8 fields, 4 of which are required and 4 are not.
Usually if a field isn't required I would create a separate table for it
rather than having a blank value in the table where required values
would go. In this case, I'm not sure if I should put all the not
required fields in one table or separate tables. Since any one of them

I'm trying to pick off fileds from a line to insert them into a database. The problem that I'm having is that there is no delemiters between columns or set amount of spaces. Some columns have blank fields so this causes a problem.
Here is an example
"fieldone fieldtwo fieldthree fieldfour"
"fieldone fieldthree fieldfour"
My script would read fieldtwo to be fieldthree instead of blank

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
