I've been looking for a good and free code beautifier that runs on
linux. About the only ones I found where Trita (www.trita.com), which
costs money and only runs on windows. The other one was Beautify PHP
(www.bierkandt.org/beautify) which does not offer all the features I'd
like to have.
I'm also more interested in something that is not written in php itself
because I want to reformat large amounts of code quite often, and I
guess...

Hi all!
Is there a linux tool that uses as input my ugly C/C++ code and
outputs a pretty and nice formated source code?

Hi,
I want to integrate a code beautifier for C++ in the development
process of my company. There are many beautifiers around which would
meet our formatting requirements (SourceFormatX, SourceStyler, ...)
but those are based on a GUI and thus require a developer to do this
extra-step before checking the code in.
We planned to include the beautifier as a post build step (from MS
VC++). To do this we would need a command line interface...

Hi.
Do you know any good code beautifier for c++?
I tried indent but it screws my code, and astyle seems to go by its own
rules :)

Hi,
We need a C++ beautifier, and due to the specific requirements of some
of our developers, it has to be very configurable. After trying some
free ones, we now realise that we might need to pay to get the options
we need.
We've tried AStyle - good, but not nearly configurable enough.
We've tried GreatCode - very good - much more configurable, but still
missing a few options

Hello, I did not find any reasonable pyhton source code beautifier
program (preferable gui).
Some would ask why? Program it immediatly good.
(BTW: Would be a nice project, if I would have more spare time).
Ich have some foreign source, which are programed in a way
I don't like, so I would like to have a tool, which automatically
processes following options:

When I insert a new Eventhandler or function VS 2005 does this automatically with an
indent which I don't like. Furthermore I would change the curly bracket handling.
Is there soemthing like a built-in source code beautifier which re-arranges the source code
according to my personal preferences ?

We've got a lot of code we're about to migrate from .Net 1.1 to .Net 3.5.
This code has, shall we say, a somewhat organic coding style. I would like
to run all the code thorugh a C# Beautifier that complies with the Microsoft
standards for formatting and such. I'm not looking to change variable names,
but I want a consistant style throughout in terms of indenting, spacing, and
the like.
So far, I've played with several beautifiers,...

Searched the forum and didn't find any topics on this.
Does anyone know where I can find a user friendly C beautifier. We are using Indent right now, but it doesnt have a friendly interface.
If you have used a beautifier that you are happy with, please let me know.
Thanks.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
