db2 System commands through Command Center ....

Why can we not give db2 System commands (commands starting with 'db2'
like db2ilist, db2look, db2move etc.) through the Command Center? It
is so convenient to retrieve and change commands in the Command center
but this facility does not seem to exist for System commands. Seems
command Window and CLP are the only places where we can interactively
issue these commands..darn it!!!

Regards,
Raquel.

I think you can enter system commands (like dir and db2start) by
prefexing them with a ! character.

About the command window:
When entering commands in a Command Window you can use the F7 key to
show the command history. Select a command from that list and press
the right arrow if you want to edit the command or enter if you want
it to run without change.

Hi. I'm writing a command shell that reads commands from standard input. At this point I have the command in a std::string. Now I want to execute this command in the shell. From the Borland newsgroups I learned that there is a function in stdlib.h called system. int system(const char *command); First question, is the system command ANSI compliant. Because I include <cstdlib> and write std::system(command.c_str()); it looks like an...

Hello all. I have a python script here which is just a wrapper for 2 or more system commands. I would estimate the program spends at least 95.5% of 'real' time running the system commands. I want to trap the key combo and exit (somewhat) gracefully if the user decides to abort the program. I am using os.system for the system call, and I have wrapped the entire main loop in a try: except KeyboardInterrupt statement to try to...

I have an issue trying to execute commands in a web service. The command starts under the specified user. However, it never completes its execution. I can execute simple commands like "echo HELLO" and cmd.exe starts but never terminates. I'm relatively new to .NET, so I may be forgetting some thing obvious. Thanks! Here's the code: using System; using System.Web; using System.Web.Services; using System.Web.Services.Protocols;

Hello, This is my first post to this group, and on top of that I am a beginner. So please direct me to another group if this post seems out of place.... I have recently written a program which calculates loan amortization schedules, writes the data to a text file, and then upon user prompt, the program will display the created file and print the file. Until this morning, everything worked fine, and then I started messing around with...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
