Regarding - Windows query tool for DB2/400

Hi Bob,

I know this reply is a little late for you but I just came accross
your post. You might be interested to know that there is a pretty good
query tool available on download.com called Universal Table Browser.

It is a multi-database enterprise level query tool and I have been
able to open data sets that contain literally millions of records in a
matter of seconds with it.

The link if you would like it is
http://download.com.com/3000-2065-10...ml?tag=lst-0-1

Hope that is of some help.

Kind Regards,
Conner

Date: 2004-02-05 12:17:31 PST Hi Folks, We use JDBC to connect to a DB2 database on an AS/400. We wrote a
crude query tool that allows us to send SQL to the DB and get results, but it doesn't have any convenience features like field selection etc.
Is there a query tool for DB2/400 similar to Query Analyzer for SQL
server? I know that there is an IBM Client Access package that can beinstalled on a Windows workstation that provides some connectivity andprobably contains some type of query tool, but my experience with it
is that it is pretty invasive and caused conflict with other software
packages. If someone is aware of a good tool with a small footprint (pure Java
would be awesome), I'd appreciate the tip! Thanks,
Bob

Hello, I have a few rather urgent questions that I hope someone can help with (I need to figure this out prior to a meeting tomorrow.) First, a bit of background: The company I work for is developing a web-based application, one part of which involves allowing the user the ability to page through transaction "history" information. The _summary_ history table will have the following fields: ServiceName, Date, User-Ref1, User-Ref2,...

Hello All I am trying to find some information on how to design/develop a SQL Query tool embedded in an ASP.NET web application What I would like to have is a tool that helps a user write SQL statements that are in turn used to query a database. The results of the query will then be displayed in a DataGrid. I'd like the tool to help the user write the query (similar to a Query By Example tool). I currently have a web app that allows a...

This group came through for me last time so here we go again. My page shows paint colors, brand name, product code, etc in a gridview with the background matching the paint color. Several links on the page are used to call itself with querystring values for brand, thinner, finish, etc. The page must show all colors if the querystring is empty and filter out records that don't match the querystring value when it's not. I've tried building...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
