What type of CPU should I get?

Hmmm....well i guess that would depend on what you are looking to get out of your machine?

Intel's chips are faster but AMDs are priced more economically. Your CPU also depends on the motherboard you are trying to get. It also depends on what you are planning to do with your machine.

hey dude,
i worked at a local computer store and i know my hardware pritty well. At this point in time, Core2 is the way to go. you can pritty much to anything you want to with a Duel core, so there is no need to put the money out for a Quad. You best bet is to buy the Duel core that was most produced, usally the E6600 some times the E6750. But then again it all depends on what your going to do with the PC. just make sure you get a S775 MoBo. If you want some more help feel free to PM me any question ill be happy to explain anything
