Dual Processor Allocation

2 New Member
I was wondering if there is a way to set up my dual processor Linux server to have ColdFusion MX7 (or hopefully 8) Standard edition allocated to only run on one processor that way I don't have to get 2 licesnes (they charge per CPU). Then I want to set up mySQL to run only on the second processor.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Welcome to TSDN!

Having never tried this, I wouldn't know for sure.

What I'll do is copy this thread over to the Linux forum, so that issues with Linux can be dealt with there, but there's still a thread on Coldfusion.
